Tenix Wins Pre-Oxidation Tanks Project in Papua New Guinea
Tenix has been awarded a contract to design, fabricate and test two Pre-Oxidation Tanks as part of the Million Ounce Plant Upgrade (MOPU) program of works for Lihir Gold Limited (LGL).
This is Tenix's second win for the MOPU program of works. The project will increase the overall production capacity of Lihir Island Gold Mine's Neutralisation Cyanidation Absorption processing plant located in Papua New Guinea.
Tenix will supply labour, the supervision and transportation of materials and equipment and tools necessary to construct the 16 by 16.5 metre Pre-Oxidation Tanks. Once the installation of the Pre-Oxidation Tanks is complete, Tenix will then commence the testing and commissioning phase.
