Operation & Maintenance

Tenix provides a wide range of maintenance services for infrastructure asset owners including utilities, manufacturers and mining and resource companies. We also provide specialist operating services to owners of utility-style assets.

Using in-house resources Tenix:

  • Operates and maintains over fifteen wastewater treatment plans under long-term performance-based contracts driven by key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintains SP AusNet's central region electricity distribution network serving 300,000 consumers (provided by 158 employees and subcontractors, three depots, 24/7 response with a call centre interface)
  • Maintains SP AusNet's gas distribution and transmission networks supplying 500,000 consumers.  This involves 24/7 operations and maintenance support from eleven depots in Melbourne's western suburbs and western Victoria.

Provides operations and maintenance services to industry, including mining and resources.

Conducts both planned and preventative maintenance. Our maintenance capabilities for equipment, plant and infrastructure assets include:

  • Shutdowns and Overhauls
  • Refurbishments and Repairs
  • Callouts
  • Preventative maintenance management
  • Offshore oil and gas maintenance on both vessels and platforms
  • Specialist training - BOSIET OPITO (helicopter evacuation)

Fonterra Maintenance

 

Tui Field FPSO Installation and Hook-up (2007), New Zealand
For Prosafe (Singapore)

Our Role: Install, hookup and commission the oil and gas production facilities onboard the floating production storage offloading (FPSO) vessel at Tui Offshore Oil and Gas Field, New Zealand.

Outcome: Despite working under challenging off-shore weather conditions and component size constraints, Tenix' multi-disciplined engineering services successfully converted the FPSO to produce oil and gas within 10 months.

 

Pohipi Mechanical Overhaul 50MW Turbo Alternator (2000), New Zealand

Our Role: Overhaul the 50MV Geothermal Turbo Alternator and its auxiliaries at Poihipi Power Station, Taupo

Outcome: By working closely with our client, the machine was successfully brought back on-line, on-time and to budget
