Current and recent projects

Kupe Gas Project, New Zealand
For Origin Energy/Technip

Our Role:

  • Onsite fabrication of seven carbon steel process tanks and one stainless steel process tank ranging from 6m to 15m diameter
  • 34,000m piping and 90 tonne pipe supports
  • Installation of all mechanical equipment, plant and piping
  • Painting, fire protection and insulation
  • Fabrication and delivery of eight pipe-rack modules up to 150 tonnes each, containing 840 tonnes of structural steel and 350 tonnes of pipe spooling. The modules are 8m wide x 10m high x 210m total length

Outcome: This project is ongoing and is due to be completed in May - June 2009.


Dalrymple Bay Coal Loader, Queensland
For Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd

Our Role: Upgrade/expansion of six out-loading conveyors, the procurement, supply, installation and commissioning of a 1.4km long yard conveyor, and a fully fitted out transfer tower.

Outcome: Completed in May/June 08. The client is happy with work and quality of the job.

 

Tui Field FPSO (2007), Taranaki Coast New Zealand
For Prosafe (Singapore)

Our Role: Install, hookup and commission the oil and gas production facilities onboard the floating production storage offloading (FPSO) vessel at Tui Offshore Oil and Gas Field, New Zealand.

Outcome: Despite working under challenging off-shore weather conditions and component size constraints, Tenix' multi-disciplined engineering services successfully converted the FPSO to produce oil and gas within 10 months.
