Tenix Wins Western Network Upgrade Project

Tenix was recently awarded a contract to construct the first phase of a two-circuit, 33 KV, 17 kilometer transmission line to connect the Te Uku Wind Farm to WEL Networks' distribution system in the Waikato region.

The first phase includes all civil and electrical works to install 4.1 kilometers of the underground transmission line and optical fibre underground cables along State Highway 23 to Cogswell Road.

Tenix have recently expanded its capability within the New Zealand operations to include civil works for utilities including trenching, directional drilling, polyethylene and steel pipe laying, electrical cable laying and fibre optic cable roll out.
