Robt. Stone has a track record, built up over its 60 year history, of successfully delivering major mechanical engineering projects throughout New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific.

Tenix Alliance Chief Executive, Sean Woellner, said the acquisition of Robt. Stone provides Tenix with an excellent opportunity to establish further scale and capability, and leverage existing skill sets into broader geographic regions.

“The combination of Robt. Stone’s mechanical and steel fabrication capabilities and Tenix Alliance’s power, water and infrastructure services will create a substantial and diverse engineering and service delivery business,” Mr Woellner said.

“With the addition of Robt. Stone’s capabilities, Tenix Alliance is strongly positioned to provide project delivery, construction and maintenance work in the New Zealand and Asia Pacific region.

The merger of Robt. Stone and Tenix Alliance’s New Zealand business will result in a workforce of nearly 600 people.
