Work is progressing well on the $13 million upgrade of the Camden Haven Sewage Treatment Plant with the project expected to be completed by November.
The Camden Haven Sewerage Treatment Plant augmentation is being delivered by Tenix Alliance Pty Ltd, which was awarded the project by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council last year.
Tenix is responsible for the design, design development and construction of supporting infrastructure and associated works at the plant as well as the design and supply of the membrane bioreactor process and associated equipment.
The augmentation project will increase the capacity of the sewage treatment plant to cater for the current and future capacity of the Camden Haven area.
The plant will also have significant positive environmental benefits, as the new state of the art technology will produce an effluent of extremely high quality.
The project is being delivered in partnership with the NSW Department of Services, Technology and Administration - NSW Public Works.
