Tenix Alliance and Gold Coast Water would like to congratulate all partners involved in the development of the SP68 pump station at Robina, the Gold Coast's largest and most advanced wastewater pump station.
The pump station was developed under the Beenleigh Merrimac Pimpama Alliance, a collaboration between Gold Coast Water, the Tenix Alliance and sub-alliance partner GHD.
"The BMP Alliance was created to improve and expand the wastewater network around Beenleigh, Merrimac, and Pimpama on Queensland's Gold Coast. This was a complex project that is now a tremendous success - due in no small part to the great co-operation between all the BMP Alliance partners" said Ross Taylor, Managing Director of Tenix Alliance.
"I would like to congratulate all the alliance partners and their workers for a job well done. This project is clear proof of the success of the alliance model and we hope to replicate the success of this development on projects into the future," Mr Taylor said.
The $227 million wastewater network improvement program included the design, construction, modification, expansion and decommissioning of wastewater pipelines, pump stations and related assets.
Tenix Alliance was the alliance contractor and managed the entire project. This included managing design consultants and sub-alliance partners responsible for planning and environmental approvals, design and modelling, construction phase assistance, and community consultation.
