Our workshops are well equipped to fabricate a wide range of items using a variety of materials including carbon steel, alloy steel, Bisalloy 80, stainless steel (most grades including duplex and urea grade) chrome molybdenum, duplex, Incolloy, Nicofer, Wiscalloy 2535Nb, kunifer, brass, copper, clad plate and boiler plate.
Our workshops also have over 400 weld procedures in place covering most fabrication requirements. We have strict quality assurance and control procedures in place to ensure the highest standards are met for all fabricated products. Our quality systems are ISO 9001:2009 certified. Tenix has in-house registered certified CBIT weld inspectors.
The New Plymouth facility's fabrication capability consists of four construction bays, each over 110 metres long. There is a portable workshop on rails for long lengths to be fabricated. The facility is in close proximity to a deep water port enabling efficient delivery of materials.
