A win at ESITO Awards two years running
Tenix recently attended the Electrical Supply Industry Training Organisation (ESITO) Awards, part of a three-day Annual Connection in October at Mystery Creek Events Centre in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Tenix fielded one of seven teams that competed in the ESITO Line Mechanic Competition. The competition challenged teams to demonstrate the best practices for completing jobs safely and efficiently under time pressure while under the watchful eye of experienced judges. Under the guidance of team manager Alastair Borthwick, team members Ben Englebretsen, Ben Pittams, Paul Webster and Paul Tasker won third place.
Paul Tasker, the team's trainee line mechanic, was awarded the coveted Ross Archer Memorial Line Mechanic Safety Award for the second year in a row, for being the trainee with the best individual marks during the competition. Frank Skinner received the Advanced Trainee of the Year award.
